Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MoneySlinger™ (the "Service"), operated by MoneySlinger LLC, an Arizona limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, joining the private beta, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

MoneySlinger™ is a semi-monthly cashflow budgeting application built on the MoneySlinger Cashflow Method™. It helps you plan, allocate, and track your own financial entries. MoneySlinger is a planning and record-keeping tool only — it is not a bank, financial advisor, accountant, or tax professional, and nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for everything that happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential.
  • One account is for one household's personal use. You may invite a partner to share your budget through the built-in sharing feature.

3. License Grant

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service to manage your own finances, subject to these Terms and our Acceptable Use Policy. This license does not transfer any ownership of the Service, the MoneySlinger Cashflow Method™, or any of our intellectual property to you.

4. Subscriptions, Beta Access, and Payment

  • Private beta: Beta access is provided free of charge, may be modified or discontinued at any time, and may contain bugs or incomplete features. Beta participants who participate with feedback receive a free account as described on our website, subject to these Terms.
  • 90-day trial offers: Any free trial offers are without obligation.
  • Paid subscriptions: When paid plans become available, pricing, billing intervals, and renewal terms will be presented at checkout before you are charged. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
  • Price changes: We will give at least 30 days' notice before any price change takes effect for your subscription.

5. Your Data

You own the financial figures, notes, labels, and other content you enter into the Service. You grant us only the limited rights needed to store, process, and display that content back to you and anyone you share it with. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information and forms part of these Terms.

6. Acceptable Use

Your use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which prohibits copying or cloning the MoneySlinger Cashflow Method™, automated scraping, reselling access, and illegal activity. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any calculation, average, or projection will match your actual financial results. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. See also our Disclaimer.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MONEYSLINGER LLC AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, SAVINGS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100) IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US ANYTHING.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MoneySlinger LLC from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your license ends; we will retain or delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Arizona, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or through the Service before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Feedback

If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may or may not use them without obligation to you.

15. General

  • Assignment. We may assign these Terms, and our rights and obligations under them, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business or assets. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent.
  • Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Acceptable Use Policy, and the Disclaimer are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
  • Severability and waiver. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
